Job Connect Festival 2026 at ISBAT University Empowers Students for the Careers of Tomorrow

ISBAT University successfully hosted the highly anticipated Job Connect Festival 2026, bringing together students, industry leaders, employers, and career development experts for an engaging and impactful career networking event. The festival served as a platform to bridge the gap between academia and industry while preparing students for the rapidly evolving global job market.

The highlight of the event was an insightful panel discussion under the theme: “Careers of Tomorrow: Navigating a Rapidly Changing Job Market.” The session focused on emerging career opportunities, workplace transformation, digital skills, employability, innovation, and strategies students can use to remain competitive in the modern workforce.

The Job Connect Festival 2026 attracted participation from 25 companies, with 17 organizations physically attending the event and engaging directly with students. Additionally, two companies requested CV submissions through email for future recruitment opportunities. Some of the participating companies included Jubilee Life Insurance, Tropical Bank, Bhoomi Supply Ltd, Autozone Professional Ltd, Prudential Uganda, and FINCA Uganda among others.

A total of 161 students attended the event, gaining valuable networking opportunities, career guidance, internship insights, and direct interaction with recruiters and HR professionals. Students also learned about future workplace trends, entrepreneurship, leadership, digital transformation, and the importance of adaptability in today’s employment landscape.

The event reaffirmed ISBAT University’s commitment to academic excellence, career readiness, industry collaboration, and student empowerment. Through initiatives like the Job Connect Festival 2026, the university continues to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional exposure required to thrive in competitive local and international job markets.
